The school year is coming to an end and summer is quickly approaching.
Kids couldn’t be more restless, right?
You’re busy trying to tie all the loose ends before the year ends and, let’s be honest, you can’t wait for summer yourself.
But…
There are about five more weeks to go and you’re running out of ideas of what to do to keep your students engaged and learning.
Not to mention it’s harder and harder to find the time to search for activities.
Well, here’s a list of FREE summer resources that should be useful for you right now Image may be NSFW.

- 3 summer-themed art projects: Jellyfish Suncatcher, Handprint Popsicle Stick Campfire, and Popsicle Resist Art
- comptine: Les vacances d’été
- Video song: On fait du camping
- “Cet été…” pennant for bulletin boards
Download the file, print as many copies of the pennant as necessary so that each students gets one, and have them write about what they are doing over the summer.
Then, after the writing and the coloring, put together a bulletin board with all the pennants so that kids can read what their friends are planning to do.
This activity is great because students can write as little or as much as they are capable of, from few words to long, detailed sentences.
If they need more space to write, have them cut a paper triangle and staple it to the pennant.
